WHAT IS THE CLASS ABOUT?
This class is for both genders.
People who would like to do yoga, but feel too frightened to attend a regular, well established class where you may feel slightly intimidated.
This class is for people who would like to move more easily, but struggle due to feeling stiff & tight. People who know that movement & stretching is a great benefit, but only want to start off at beginners’ level. If you are feeling stressful or “up tight” with your everyday life.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM A YOGA CLASS?
The class will start with relaxation – this helps you to leave the “outside world” behind, & bring your focus onto you. A breathing exercise will follow to help you focus & promote a more beneficial breathing pattern.
There is a series of gentle mobility movements to warm up the major joints, followed by exercises to gradually build up strength & flexibility to your muscles.
The class will finish with rest & relaxation. Allowing the body & mind to completely rest & rejuvenate. Attending this class will help you find a work-life balance. Help your body cope with movement easier whilst de-stressing the mind.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
Wear loose comfortable clothing.
Bear feet. No shoes necessary
A mat to lie on.
A blanket for relaxation.
